The Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime, a lighter entry version of the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream with similar features like dual alarm FM/AM clock. It also has the same motion sensing backlit controls. With its compact black housing design wrapping the ipod/iPhone in the middle. Since it is motion sensing, the black colored buttons will light up in dark areas when you wave above them or touch one of them.

Pure-Fi Anytime Description

Four dock adapters are included for docking different iPod and iPhone models. The speaker system comes with a built-in FM antenna that boosts clear reception and similarly a separate AM antenna is included for clear AM reception.

Although there are only three radio presets per radio band, they can also be used as playlist presets on the iPod/iPhone. The dual alarm provides sleep and wake functions to your choice of buzzer, radio or from your iPod and iPhone. You can also snooze by waving your hand above the unit.

Pretty Good Alarm Clock

Overview

The Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime is great alarm clock speaker system which features essential alarm clock functionality. For instance, easy to read LED display for the clock, an adjustable dimmer button, duel alarm clock settings, and motion sensor, back-lit buttons.

It also performs well as a desk or home speaker system. If high quality sound is important to you, it provides top notch quality given it’s size. It’s perfect for decently loud listening because it won’t distort at it’s highest setting, although it sacrifices a little bass.

Review

Logitech makes pretty good systems. Their speakers systems are durable and have pretty good quality. The Pure-Fi Anytime is a pretty standard alarm clock iPhone/iPod docking system.

For an alarm clock one may only expect an alarm and a clock put into one device. Now, think about adding some decently loud speakers, an iPhone, radio, auxiliary input, an LED screen, and a motion sensored backlight, now that’s a product. If you’re looking to fill your whole bedroom with sound, your bathroom with jams or the office with ‘focusing’ music, the Pure-Fi Anytime will accommodate you. It’s not going to blow you over with wind from the speakers, but it offers a loud enough volume and crisp enough sound to be considered ‘Loud’.

It only has a few draw backs compared to other iPhone/iPod Alarm Clocks out there. Mainly the buttons could be easier to see and use, they could reduce the size of the power adapter, and potentially add a little sound dynamic.

On the other hand, if you’re not looking for a top-shelf speaker system, but just want one that works better than an alarm clock, the Pure-Fi Anytime is a great choice. The best thing about this device is it’s simplicity when using the iPod and iPhone. You won’t get confused by the controller, it protects your iPhone/iPod in it’s recessed dock, and you are able to charge your device without worrying about missing a call.

Overall, the Pure-Fi Anytime works well, sounds great, has cool input functionality, and has solid construction. It’s a good system.

Great all rounder

Pros and Cons

Pros:

-Excellent display (backlit ones usually are too bright) this one is spot-on day or night
-feature rich (2 x "alarm lists", 3 x preset lists, gradual wake up volume,volume set up)
- sound can be turned right down to very low level
- gound sound but...

Cons:

-...more bass would be great and is can sound boxy depending on the nusic (although overall sound is good)
- finger prints magnet!

Review

The features and the display are fantastic.
I previously had a gear4 24h but it was not really suitable as an alarm clock (too bright, minimum volume was too loud and level could not be set for waking up without jumping).
Size is good (and it looks much better than iHome ip9).
Only the sounds is a small let down (when comparing) but it is very good for what this should be used for.
Recommended.

logitech pure hi fi radio alarm clock with ipod dock: a very bad product

Pros and Cons

Pros:

Good design and looks

Cons:

Distroted sound for about 5 to 10 minutes when you turn it on. It gets worse with time. This is the second I change for faulty product.

Review

Do not recommend buying it. A faulty product as it distorts sound. OPity because it looks nice but you have tot up with 5 minutes of distorted sound until it warms up
